Welcome to my Travel site! My name is Deb Thirkelson. After High School I went to a Travel Academy to learn all I could about the travel industry. After graduating I was hired by the largest hotel at the time near my home town in Iowa. I worked there for a couple years starting as their daytime telephone operator . Then I was promoted to the Front Desk clerk. My final promotion was the hotel reservationist. I was then hired by Northwest Airlines(known now as Delta Airlines) as a Flight Attendant. I flew around the world and saw so many wonderful places. The company offered an enhanced retirement package after the effects from the pandemic. During my decision making of this sudden change in plans of retiring after 31 years, I found the opportunity to become a Travel Professional! I can now help you with your travel needs.
